Synopsis
Genre: fiction. Photomontage Black and White. Original French version, subtitles in Spanish. In mid-summer, a teen love story is told through the eyes of a boy.
Comments by the composer
The original intention of the director was to use the music by Luis Bacalov for the film "The Postman (and Pablo Neruda)," but because of copyright he could not do it. That was the point of reference with which he came to me. He wanted a very emotional and romantic score, which would evoke the good times of the past. I thought that the guitar was the most appropriate instrument, the one that was closer to that idea, which is why my music is based on it. But as in the short story, there was a male off-voice, then I decided to add to the music a female voice without words, in such a way that it was not so much the voice that accompany the guitar but the other way round.
