Synopsis
Genre: Documentary. A group of hikers remembers the road they travelled crossing the Pyrenees. Thousands of Spanish fled Spain after the collapse of the Republic. The interview and documentary pays tribute to some of the survivors.
Comments by the composer
I came to this project eventhough a composer had been already allocated, a pianist who, in fact, could not take over the entire film. They asked me to prepare the music that was missing, but I thought that since they had a pianist, he could see to the contemporary part while I would assume, with the guitar, everything concerning the memories. In this way, we could establish a double plot level with the music. So, for example, the film opens with an guitar tune concludes with another tune in which guitar and piano merge, in a way that is very elegant I think.
